Ěcts as representative of the Public Works Manager on routine field matters.Issues construction deficiency and/or stop work order notices when required.Maintains a daily log and inspection reports prepares a weekly report to the Public Works Manager.ğiles written job reports, correspondence, punch lists, minutes and other contract administration as required.These include but are not limited to streets, drainage facilities, water mains and parks. Performs on-site inspections of Municipal Capital Improvement projects being performed by outside contractors to ensure proper construction in accordance with approved plans and specifications.Works under the direct supervision of the Public Works Manager. This position works closely with the Public Works Manager, Senior Engineer and construction personnel ensuring that legal specifications and conditions of approval are met. Work includes interpreting construction plans, specifications and related requirements. This full-time position is responsible for the inspection of Public Works construction.
